Ubuntu Log In help
Hey guys! So, I finally partitioned my HD and put Ubuntu on it. But now I can't remember the username is gives you when it asks you to make a password. I thought it was home but home isn't working, and neither is Home. Any ideas? Anyone use Ubuntu and remember what the original user name was?

Well, the good news is you apparently haven't been using your Ubuntu partition long enough to miss any data you'll lose when you re-install it. Because that's what you're going to have to do to regain access

When you install Ubuntu, the installer will ask you what do you want the default username to be; it also generates the computer's name from it: username-desktop or username-laptop.
