Mouse cursor goes off screen
Hey guys,
This is weird, I just updated my video card drivers and I noticed something different.
It's hard to describe but i'll try:
Normally when you move the mouse cursor on your screen to the edge of the monitor, the cursor still shows at the edge. However, for me when I scroll to the edge, it goes entirely off screen and dissappears. This only happens on the right hand side of the screen. Has this happened to anyone before? This gets annoying when I try to close a window and my cursor goes off screen.
Thanks.

Mouse cursor goes off screen
My cursor goes off screen on the right side and the bottom both. Top and left are still visable though so I always just figured it was something to do with my monitor alignment.

You're right, mines goes off the bottom as well. This has never happened before though.

Try adjusting the monitor alignment with the settings built into the monitor.

Mouse cursor goes off screen
Just tried it on my system and looks like that the point of the mouse arrow is what stops the pointer. On the right side I can see the edge of the arrow and at the bottom I can see just the very tip of the arrow.

Mine will stop at the vertical lane of the cursor when move to the left edge. However if move to the right edge then the entire right portion to the right of the vertical lane will be "hidden" beyond the screen.
It comes down the one point of the cursor, in my case the tip of the arrowhead. Base on observation it simply means that that one point (the tip) cannot goes off screen or something like that.

Mouse cursor goes off screen
I think I figured out the problem. I'm not sure how to fix it though.
I think my computer thinks I have dual monitors which is why my mouse cursor goes completely off screen.
The reason why I assume so is when I switch from digital to analog, it shows a new screen and I can partially see a portion of the other screen. This happened once I installed the latest nvdia video card drivers. I'm going to play around with my settings in display properties to see if I can fix this. But if anyone knows how, that would help me too

If you have both the VGA and DVI cables hooked up, DON'T. Use only one or the other.

Thanks, I just unhooked the vga cable. Are there damaging effects for having both cables in?
I think that fixed the problem.
