Sata drive not recoz in bios
Connect it to the lowest numbered SATA port (Intel ICH), not a Marvell (eSATA) or Sil (Drive Xpert) port. Make sure the Marvell controller is enabled in the bios in IDE mode, that's what controls the IDE. The IDE drives will not be seen by the main bios, the Marvell has its own bios. The ICH needs to be set to IDE or AHCI (preferred) mode, not RAID.
