I keep running the system check thing to get into the SC2 beta, but it always freezes up when I click send and I end up closing it. I'm running Windows XP Service Pack 2, so...

Any idea's why it's freezing? I checked Blizzard's support, but that wasn't very... supportive at all.
 

I'm having troubles as well. It says there was an error and then tells me to go on to their site.
 

I'd imagine its a firewall/router issue. I had to wait for mcafee to come up and ask if I wanted to allow the optin program access to the internet... then it finally worked..
 

Same problem here. I'm afraid I won't be able to get this stupid thing to run!
 

I'm getting the cannot connect to Battle.net error now too. I tried to close AVG by shutting down it's processes but it keeps bringing them up. Fucking AVG. CLOSE!!!
 

btw, none of it was working for me either, but I went to the EU battle.net site and it works fine over there.

i dont think my system is capable of running SC2, how do I know?
 

Download the System Check application from Battle.net.

You need to create an account first and have at least one Blizz game registered to that account to be eligible for the beta. Not to mention having specs within Blizz's range of testing.
 

Weird. On my 5-year old PowerBook it worked just fine, without a hitch.
