Hey guys I have two UMS that are defenses. I want to play them bymyself since I can never find good ppl to play with. But every time I do the game jus ends cause it needs at least one other player. Is it possible if I upload them, to edit them so I can play by my self?
 

It could be possible, but it just as well could be impossible.

The maps could be protected or the trigges could be designed in such a way that switching to singleplayer requires one to change many triggers, possibly even completely change the way the map is built.
 

Try it and let's see. As spinesheath stated, it's possible only for certain maps. But I'm pretty sure a majority of maps can be edited properly for SP usage (unless the enemy in the map is a human controlled player).

So, basically you are expecting someone to do the work for you without even asking properly? Also, should that person go through the effort of working on all 5 maps when you don't even know which ones you like?
 

How did I not ask properly? I am asking someone to do the work for me because I do not know how to do it myself. There are two separate poker games there with two maps. The two versions of each map are titled exactly the same, so I cannot tell which one is the one I like to play. And anytime I make a game to see, no one joins. So I cannot figure out which is the one I like.
 

Well, I still don't see how you were asking anyone. Regardless, I won't check the maps out as long as you don't filter them and even then I won't promise anything.
 

I will try to filter them but the differences are mid-game and if I can never get a game to even start I cannot make it mid game.

You know in the time you've been being a dick about this, you probably could have easily checked if it were possible to edit these and than just add the trigger.
 

It's not all that helpful to tell me I am being a dick when I could be the one that fixes those maps for you...

Also, understanding the triggers of a map often is very complex and it's not all that common to comment triggers well. And once you understand the triggers, you still have to work out a way to create the desired effect. That certainly is not well described by "just add the trigger". If it was that simple, you could have done it by now as well.

Dude what ever. Its really not that big of a deal to me. If you don;t want to do it just say no. I really do not care. And for someone who calls themselves "Trigger Mathemagician" I would think this would be an easy feat. Guess not.
 

Well, the thing about magic is that it seems to be easy for the magician, but the spectators have no clue what is going on.
 

I did the maps for you. If there's any problems with them, then do tell me. Also, if you'd like, I could show you how to do these edits on your own.

Hmm, I think I see the problem. But it kind of looks like one of those problems that I can't rectify. Though actually, it might be doable, but I'm not sure what some of these triggers do for the overall gameplay. If you're really hankerin' to play it, I could just remove all victory triggers. Though I bet you'd feel cheated after winning and just having to leave.
