i have a movieclip made up of three parts, a top, a middle, and a footer. there is a dynamic text(multiline) feild in the movie clip also. i have figured out how to adjust the height of the "middle" according to the height of the text feild. i have also figured out how to move the "footer" to the correct y value based on the height of the text feild.

my problem: this is only for the one mc. how can i duplicate this movie clip (and the actions) multiple times and make it so the "footer" of a leading mc will evenly meet the "header" of the next movie clip? it has me stumped.

anything that could point me in the right direction would be greatly appreciated. thanks
