|[ubuntu] Micro SD card isnt recognised and wont mount|
I'm hoping someone can help please.
I was using my LG Mobile phone to take photos. The photos were saved to a 2GB microSD card. I wanted to look at some of the photos on my laptop so I took the microSD card out of the phone and put it in an integral microSD adapter. I inserted the integral microSD adapter in my laptop and could view the photos perfectly. I deleted a few of them.
Then when I put the microSD card back in the phone the LG phone could not see it. It kept saying "no external memory card." When I put the microSD card in a Nokia phone it sees the card but says it's locked and asks for a password. When I put the microSD card back in by laptop using the adapter nothing happens.
I am running 10.04 and other microSD cards work fine on my laptop using the adapter and in the 2 mobile phones. Also the lock switch on the side of the adapter is in the unlocked position. Changing the position of the switch makes no difference.
I have attached the output of dmesg.
Is this problem to do with linux file type being ext4 and microSD being FAT?
