Hi everybody! Ok, needing a little help here. I've been out of the ATI arena for a long time, last card I had was a 9800 Pro AGP a LONG time ago. I've used Nvidia basically since the 6600GT.
So, I recently bought some parts to upgrade our "main" system that we use for important stuff like paying bills, email, etc. Here's what I bought for it -
MSI 785GT-E63 Motherboard
AMD Athlon II X3 440 Rana 3.0GHz
and didn't really need the graphics card but I got this anyway -
XFX HD-567X-ZNF3 Radeon HD 5670 1GB 128-bit DDR5 PCI Express 2.0
I also am going to use Windows 7 and I have extra DDR2 RAM laying around, that's why I went with these parts, considering what the system is mainly used for I didn't need anything fancy.
I also got a couple 500 gig WD Caviar Blacks.
So, I've never used a board with onboard integrated graphics before, so my question is when I set this system up, should I leave the video card out and load everything up first?? Or, can I go ahead and put the video card in and then load drivers, OS, etc.??
Thanks, and I'll appreciate any help, hints, or other suggestions!!
